The success of your training strongly depends on the professional ability and commitment of your trainer. Good interaction between you and your trainer also plays an important role. The trainer who performs your intake is therefore the same trainer who will provide your language training. This ensures that he or she has a clear understanding of your knowledge of the language, learning style, desires and goals from the very outset.
All of our trainers:
Are ‘native speakers’ (the language that you are learning is their mother tongue)
Are educated to higher professional education or university level
Have a teaching endorsement (and are therefore qualified)
Speak excellent Dutch (and can therefore explain language differences)
In 2004 I began carrying out training assignments for European Language Centre. The focus of a programme may be on developing one skill (e.g. presentation skills, meeting skills or writing skills) or include the development of various skills. It all depends on the goals of the students. Learning styles are taken into consideration and steps are taken to ensure that individual needs are met. Use is made of a wide range of resources, and by means of a variety of activities, new language is practised in work-related contexts.The ultimate focus is on helping students to be able to communicate successfully in a foreign language!
During the intake meeting, I pay attention to your language background and -levels, learning style and personal goals. Equally relevant to me however, is getting to know you as a person. This enables me to offer you the materials that will allow you to achieve your learning goals fast. The lesson pace and contents are partially determined by yourself, based upon your personal needs and preferences. All this is a guaranty for a dynamic atmosphere, in which it is a pleasure to learn. I look forward to guiding you in this process.
